It’s Thursday again, Rifle Middle School Families, and hard to believe another week has flown by and next week we begin our third quarter! Just a few things to say this week: We have not been operating our PTA or school accountability committee since October as there was very little participation while we were all trying to navigate the impacts of Covid at home, at work, and in our schools. We miss being connected in these ways very much and we are going to resume these for the second quarter, Invites will be coming soon to February meetings. As I look at schools around our nation, I give thanks every single day that we have been able to have kids learning in our buildings while also still providing an option for virtual learning for those who need it. I hope you never tire of hearing how well our kids have handled this strange school year, how much we are enjoying them, and how much we miss seeing you in our building. We are feeling lots of hope here at RMS and hope you feel it too! Have a wonderful weekend!
¡Es jueves de nuevo, familias de Rifle Middle School, y es difícil de creer que haya pasado otra semana volando y la próxima semana comenzamos nuestro tercer trimestre! No hemos estado operando nuestra Asociación de padres y maestros la reunión de responsabilidad escolar desde octubre, ya que hubo muy poca participación mientras todos intentábamos navegar los impactos de Covid en el hogar, el trabajo y nuestras escuelas. Echamos mucho de menos estar conectados de esta manera y vamos a reanudarlos para el segundo trimestre, las invitaciones llegarán pronto a las reuniones de febrero. Cuando miro las escuelas de nuestra nación, doy gracias todos los días por haber podido hacer que los niños aprendan en nuestros edificios y, al mismo tiempo, seguir brindando una opción de aprendizaje virtual para aquellos que lo necesitan. Espero que nunca se cansen de escuchar lo bien que nuestros niños han manejado este extraño año escolar, cuánto los estamos disfrutando y cuánto extrañamos verlos en nuestro edificio. ¡Tenemos mucha esperanza aquí en RMS y esperamos que usted también la sienta! ¡Será un fin de semana maravilloso!
